Financing

We have received funding from the Helmholtz Association, Berlin, as part of the Helmholtz Validation Fund and from GEOMAR, Kiel.

In June 2019, around 1 million in funding was raised as part of a first capital round. The funding was provided by the Seed and Start-Up Fund II of MBG (Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft) Kiel, MVZ Labor Dr Krause und Kollegen and two business angels with experience in the industry.

A second financing round totalling around EUR 1.6 million was concluded in December 2020. The funding was provided by the Seed and Start-Up Fund II of MBG (Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft) Kiel, Labor Dr Krause & Kollegen MVZ GmbH, Kiel and SVM Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH, Hamburg.
On the one hand, the funds raised will be used to drive further geographical expansion. The capital will also be used to further expand existing laboratory capacities.

We are interested in making contact with private and public venture capitalists/VC companies and strategic investors as part of the further development of our patent-pending diagnostic procedure and in the context of further international expansion.
